I need advice on how to do a split?

i got out of school in may and have been stretching every night and cheer try-outs are on friday and i still can do a split. WHAT DO I DO!!!I need advice on how to do a split?
Friday is soon so I'm going to suggest some major stretching so you have them by then.





Do this routine twice a day and you should have them by friday. First open your legs in a straddle and reach right left and center holding each for 30 seconds and go as far as you can till you feel a bit of an uncomfortable pull.





After that you will do this procedure on both legs. Place one foot in front with your leg bent and your other leg extended back basically in a lunge position. Keep the back leg straight and lunge as far as you can till once again you feel that pull hold for 30 seconds. Then sit back on the leg that was previously extended extend the opposite one in front and reach for your toes. hold this for 30 seconds then go into your split holding each side for a minute and 30 seconds as far as you can go.





After doing this on both legs find a small risen surface about 5 inches or so off the ground. Place one foot on it and go into your split till you feel a pull. This will hyper-extend your msucles the slightest bit to get a easier split. Hold this for one minute on each leg.





Last thing to do is do one more split on each side and hold for 30 seconds.





This should get your splits down super fast if done correctly and twice a day! good luck!I need advice on how to do a split?
You will need one full day.





first start with some simple lunges


then do stradles to increase flexibility ( try putting something on the floor to reach too)


Force your body down and when you feel pain its a sign that you are working hard


do it in intervals of 8


when done if you can do a running cartwheel do it and then force your self into a split after. the airo- dynamics will help


lastly try doing straddle jumps and also a ballet barre would help you! best of luck for cheer try outs. Try to rock your coreogrpahy and try to wear a cheer team shirt and dont forget thoose soffe shorts and cheer sneakers. I know expert village really helped me when i wantted to try out! Sit on the floor with your legs in a V then put your hands right in the front of your legs and push yourself up then push down as hard as you can. It'll hurt really bad but don't push yourself too far, continue to do this and you'll have em quick! (= That's how i was taught and i can do them now. (= hope i helped! Good luck girl!
