Can you give me some advice on how to get some sleep?

i havent been able to sleep well for the last few months i need some adives on some good ways to get a good sleepCan you give me some advice on how to get some sleep?
try eating tart cherries. they have melenin in them which help you sleep.Can you give me some advice on how to get some sleep?
Do not eat close to bed - give at least 3 hours between last eating and sleep time.





If you do get hungry have a bit of fruit.





Your diet can play a large role in your sleep. Are you getting lots of fruits and greens? Is your diet low in fat?





Fat is very hard on the digestive system and your body so consuming calories from fat around 10% of total calories will be very helpful in your sleep.





When you are lying down in bed - affirmations can be helpful. Tell yourself gently over and over that you will sleep well tonight. You have to believe it but keep doing it. Believe you can sleep well.





Make sure you are also getting enough exercise, sunlight and fresh air.





Also make sure you destress in the evenings if you have a stressful day. Relaxation is key.
a good way to go to sleep with out taking meds is to make your day worth it. what i mean is do as much as you possibly can. and if you dont have that much to do ,,,, work out. i know it sounds stupid but i had the same problem. i could never sleep.... especially when i really needed too. once i started school back up again i starter doing to bed at 11. which is way earlier then the 5am i was used to.really it helps.
The following tip has worked for me. On the bed, try to recall the day's events one after the other. Just recall in sequence, and do not stop to think what may have happened or why it happened? A friend had remarked this to me some years ago. I checked and I doze away within minutes.
Do something relaxing an hour or 2 prior to going to bed, like watching tv. A glass of wine or a beer during the evening works wonders by slowing down your central nervous system and reducing stress and anxiety.
My great-grandfather had trouble sleeping after his wife died. He bought a bottle of Budweiser beer, tore off the label and wrote ';For Sleep'; on the bottle. I think it worked lol.
