you should have a CD with it, DON'T connect the printer. Install the s/ware and when it tells you connect the printerI have a Fujitsu Siemens laptop and i bought a lexmark 640 printer but don't know how to set it up any advice?
Did the printer not come with a manul and quick start guide, as well as a CD ?
Insert CD, if it dones't autostart browse to it and run the ';install'; program
When the isntaller asks, connect USB cable to printer and make sure printer is turned on
Best method, READ the instructions it comes with
