That depends on why you all were separated in the first place. If you contributed to the separation, then the first thing would be to approach her and sincerely aplogise to her, and express your true feelings. If after being honest with her she still rejects you atleast you know you've tried. So in that way u wouldn't have regrets for not trying or keeping it real. You'll just have to let go, and as they say if You love something let it go if it comes back to you it is yours if it doesn't it wasn't yours in the first place. Whatever you do be true to your self and her, or you may live in regrets.
